The New York Times: Fallen Ex-RATT Guitarist Fails To Get Respect He Deserved
December 28, 2002When THE RAMONES bassist Dee Dee Ramone and ex-RATT guitarist Robbin Crosby died within 24 hours of each other last spring, Ramone's passing received massive media coverage while Crosby's death was mostly ignored. An article published in the Dec. 29 edition of Sunday Times Magazine (The New York Times) attempts to get to the bottom of why the demise of Ramone completely overshadowed the demise of Crosby, "even though Crosby co-wrote a song ('Round and Round') that has probably been played on FM radio and MTV more often than every track in THE RAMONES' entire catalog."
